Wikipedia Entry

It started off as another Premium Channel at an additional cost and now it appears to be part of the Movie Tier. My guess is they didn't get enough subs at the higher cost.

New OnDemand menus.

Did anyone else get the mailer from cox describing their new menu for OnDemand?

All it says is "coming soon".

Hopefully the new IPG will be released soon.

Argh, where are my new HD channels!?!

The CSR said the new guide would begin rollout on August 3 in Scottsdale.
The rollout will be area by area, with Scottsdale first (both north and south).
The rollout be also be by equipment type. No schedule for which equipment is first.

Finally, MLB Extra Innings HD1 and HD2. For the exhorbitant rate we pay for MLB Extra Innings, we should have had these channels from the beginning of the season.
(yes, Scottsdale also shows the same lineup in testing).

They're up:

691 - BTO
696 - MTN
770 - TWC
788 - ESPNU

BTO isn't technically new, it was there last year during football season.

When I go to MTN-HD on 696, I get a message that it is unavailable, please try later. It was that way when they were testing it too. Anybody else see that? The rest of the new channels work and I get the SD MTN ok.

According to the Cox website. RedZone will be included with the Sports and Info Tier. I pray that is correct. I don't want to fork out any more dough for that channel.

I don't get either one, but then I assume they are part of the Sports & Info tier that I don't subscribe to.
